For the past few weeks in social studies we have been learning about the government and parliament. Today we chose one New Zealand law to define. I writ down multiple options before choosing my option. I ended up choosing law of murder. I researched all the information and made this blog post, I hope you enjoy reading.
Definition
Law of murder in New Zealand is a life imprisonment with non-parole period of at least 10 years. If you escape jail you will face escape custody.
Why was this law made?
Law of murder was made because of the increase of killings in 1752. People murdering people can affect others mentally and physically. It gives the correct rights, this law was also made because may resolve more murdering happening.
What would happen is we didn’t have this law?
If we didn’t have this law people would be causing chaos. People would be dying everyday and many families would be upset. There would be loads of strikes. It would create even more violence.
