In English we are learning about a boy with muscular dystrophy. Simon is a typical teenager in every way except one. Simon likes girls, weekends and enjoys mucking about and playing practical jokes. But what is different is that Simon has muscular dystrophy he is in a wheelchair and doesn’t have long to live. Throughout the book Simon slowly gets skinnier and weaker, eventually deteriorating from his prior self. He has a wheelchair and it has gotten new upgrades to help Simon. Simon has great parents and a kind personality, he also has a best friend named Nathan. Nathan has a brat annoying sister named Fiona, or better known as “Fiona the moaner”. Fiona continuously moans and never likes when things don’t go her way. She is constantly complaining and is mentioned throughout the book many times. Then there is Brady West. Brady West is a pretty young girl who all the boys have a crush on. She is really popular and a lot of people like Brady. Nathan narrates the story and updates us about Simon and how he is doing. Simon slowly deteriorates and passes further in the year.
