these past few weeks my class has been doing persuasive writing to prepare for a writing test on persuasion so my class had to answer a question our teacher asked us and persuade the reader into agreeing the question we were asked was if there should be zoos and i said yes because zoo keepers save animals for extinction by breeding them and keeping them in captivity they also give the animals suitable enviroments that they can live in and nice nutritious food for the animals and thats what i think about the question so yes i do think there should be zoos.
Here is my writing
How would you feel if you never saw your favourite animal in person.
I believe that there should be zoos because the zoo keeps can invest into the animals,zoos save species of animals and they clean up the earth
1st the zoo keepers invest the money they earn from people visiting the zoo into the animals wellbeings like food their enclosure size decorations and the right temperature also they can give them toys to play with so they dont get bored because if they animals would get bored and they didnt wanna do the entertaining anymore the zoo would receive backlash for not making the animals happy.
Secondly animals that are close to extinction can get put into captivity so that they have a suitable environment because some people cut down trees or leave rubbish in places that could make the animals sick and not safe from protection because some animals hide under trees to hide from predators but if they trees are not there its basically just a death sentence.
Also zoos breed animals so they are saved from extinction and some animals are actually tryna be brought back by scientists so they can thrive in the wild once again.
Lastly zoos like to help the world like cleaning up oceans that are polluted and rubbish in the forests that i mentioned in my 2nd paragraph.
And they want to encourage people to clean up the world like its very serious all the plastic and rubbish could destroy the climate and also the animals are in danger like fish and aquatic animals are the most in danger to pollution thousands of creatures in the ocean die every day it is just horrible and thats why you should listen to zoos because they help the earth.
Now you should agree with me that there should be zoos because they invest into the animals help they save species of animals and they encourage people to clean up the world
So are you gonna go visit a zoo now?
