My first year at WPS was in 2022, I remember my teacher was Ms. Lavakula in Room 18, and she still is my teacher. I didn’t make friends very fast, it actually took me maybe more than a few weeks. My very first friend was Hedaznee, and she is still my friend. In my previous class, it was one of the best classes I’ve ever been in, even out of my old school. In my class, there was: Anoshken, Aradhya, Blessing, Cassie, Carlos, Christon, David, DeAndre, Donna, Ethan, Genesis, Harmony, Hedaznee, Hera, Iverson, Kayla, Krayven, Lorval, Moo Law La, Skylah, Taumata, Tomi, Tyrese, Rico, Viliami, Whetu, and Xzandra-Leigh (Me).
The whole time I have been here, all the trips I have been that I can remember, is a total of 11.. There was Ballet in a box, The Worm, Sylvia Park HOYTS, Counties Manukau, Rainbows End, Rotoroa Island, Moana live action, The Zoo, Waimahia Intermediate, MOTAT, Library, and A High School Musical in the city. Out of all of those, it was rather the Counties Manukau or Rainbows end.
Out of all of the friends I’ve made, I am going to list them all in alphabetical order. (even if I lost them as friends I’m still gonna list them too.) The friends I made were, Aradhya, Alyssa, Anoshken, Athena, Blessing, Cassie, CJ, Eren, David, Daezzel, Harmony, Hedaznee, Jireh, Kayla, Krayven, Lorval, Ocyrus, Penina, Qtae, Sarah, Shanaia, Shyla-flynn, Skylah, Thomas, Tomi, Tyrese, Remas, Rico, Rowena (maybe), Viliami, and Whetu. If you were my friend and your name isn’t on here, it’s because I thought you didn’t really think of me as a friend.
My favourite pastime(s) was probably last year. When we still had morning literacy, it’s my favourite time because I met a lot of people I never got to be in a real class with, and got to experience what they were like. I also liked that era because I actually made friends with some people, and it was also SOMETIMES enjoyable. I also really enjoyed the chapter chats we had, my favourite book we read was probably out of: “The Explorer” By Katherine Rundell. And “Holes” By Louis Sachar. I enjoyed reading those because the holes movie was really good and interesting! And they didn’t have a movie for the explorer so we had to watch this adventurous movie, but I cannot remember the name for it.
That was my reflection on WPS, and I really enjoyed this experience. And it was over one million times better than my old school. And I thank everyone that gave me the happiest, wonder-fullest, best-est, experience ever.
