What another great session! I feel every time I attend a DFI intensive, I come away feeling like I am doing something not only for myself as a teacher of the digital age, but also for my wellbeing. There are so many tips and tricks shared with me that help to support me in my dual (sometimes quadrupal roles)
It was fantastic to hear Dorothy revisit the Ako concept of the learn create share pedagogy; the emphasis on teacher practise!! Not once was devices mentioned- just great learning that connects to the students and the community. The concepts of having our learners turbo charge their learning and putting the pedal on the accelerator is so relevant for me as we upskill our kaikao on teaching and planning.
I LOVED the google keep functions as I need to walk in many different worlds at school; it is a great function for me to be able to go between different meetings; follow ups and observations. I think it gong to change my life!!!
I would love to encourage my students to host google meets so that they are feeling confident doing this.
These skills- emailing and sorting out my emails and just working with a decluttered dashboard is going to be wonderful!!!
