Hello viewers, today I am going to be talking about this activity we did in science. The activity is that we had to write the definitions next to the word that’s on the left.
| Key Term | Definition/explanation |
| DNA | DNA is just a short term of Deoxyribose nucleotides, and it’s also the code of what makes us who we are. |
| Double helix | A double helix is a structure that resembles a twisted ladder formed by DNA. The bases of these twisted ladders are adenine (A), thymine (T), cytosine (C), and guanine (G). A always pairs with T and C always pairs with G. |
| Nucleotide | The twisted ladder-shape DNA forms are composed of three primary components: a sugar, phosphate, and base (adenine, thymine, cytosine, and guanine). |
| Nucleotide bases | Carries the genetic information used for development and functioning of living things. That also consists of a sugar molecule (either ribose in RNA or deoxyribose in DNA) attached to a phosphate group and a nitrogen-containing base. |
| Complementary base-pairing rule | The complementary base-pairing rule is basically the four bases that are connected to one another, and it’s the chemicals that link the sugar-phosphate backbone together. |
Thank you for reading my blog, I hope you have a fantastic day!
