We are learning to write interesting beginnings.
In the past two weeks we have been looking at suspense writing. Last week my teacher gave us a slide, and what we had to do is write a beginning that has suspense in it and if you are guessing that I did that you are obviously correct. What I did is added a blank slide and added some words of where I was, what I was doing, what was around me and the time and then I begun to write my interesting beginning and so if you are wondering “Why is there a blue paragraph instead of the slides?” the paragraph is my beginning because I didn’t want to show my messy slide.
The church was immersed in silence that morning. The only sound that could be heard was the small voices of angels worshiping the man above. As father and I stood before the altar, being enfolded in the anointing, my father and I prayed for blessings and suddenly felt the empowering presence of the spirit and as we prepared to leave my dad quietly said “When will we receive the blessing?”
