This week in the Totara Hub we have been learning about Holy Week. Holy Week takes place in Lent. Lent is when Jesus spent 40 days in the desert. it is also a time to repent, pray, fast and almsgiving. Holy Week starts on Passion Sunday. Passion Sunday is when Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey. That was not tamed. When he told his disciples to gok get a donkey they got a wild one which wasn’t tamed. But when Jesus touched it suddenly stopped honking. The day after Passion Sunday is Holy Thursday which is when the Last Supper took place. It was also the night when Jesus got betrayed by Judas. Holy Week continues on with Good Friday. Good Friday is when Jesus died on the cross. Then we have the last day of Holy Week is Easter Sunday which is the day when Jesus rose from the dead and showed his disciples the hole is hid hands.
