Sir Issac Newton was born in Woolsthrope Manor in the United Kingdom on the 4th of Janurary 1643. Before his death on the 31st of March in 1727, he made many discoveries that left the world shocked. He was one of the first to successfully research the cause of gravity. This caused his theory of universal gravitation. His research answered the questions about why objects fall on earth and how the planets orbit the sun. Issac also found the three laws of motion. One of these laws are labelled as inertia. This is when an object is ordered to stay at rest and it stays at rest. It’s the same for when something is in movement and continues moving. The second law is acceleration. Acceleration happens when force is equal to its mass multiplied by its acceleration, F=ma. The last law is action-relation. This law follows that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. He also invented calculus and optics.
