Making inference as a super detective!

This week, we are learning how to make inferences when we read. That means we don’t just read the words in a book—we also look closely at pictures, even ones with no words at all! By using clues from the pictures and what we already know, we can make smart guesses and answer questions about what’s really happening in the story.

We are becoming reading detectives—looking for evidence, thinking deeply, and exploring beyond the words.

Here are some wonderful examples of our group work using inference skills!
