Mandela The Modern Day Savior

Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela is viewed  as a hero because he liberated his country from a life of segregation because segregation also meant that the non-white population of south Africa would be discriminated against and hindered by the white people in power.

Nelson fought for his change in the form of activism, leading the anti-aparthied movement and serving 27 years for doing so.

After negotiations to end apartheid and move to a democratic government, he was recognized with an international recognition and a Nobel piece prize.

This ended the segregation a led to the betterment for the people of South Africa.

He lived in Qunu for a majority of his life.

Nelson was born on July 18th 1918.
