Kia Ora Room 13 whānau and friends,
This week, our Room 13 learners have been busy creating some truly special “All About Me” bios for their blogs! It’s been fantastic to see their personalities and digital skills shine through.
Our tamariki worked on several important steps to bring their bios to life. They successfully learned to make a copy of the template, ensuring they each had their own editable version. Then, they thoughtfully edited their bios, filling them with interesting facts and details about themselves. To add a personal touch, everyone was able to add a photo, making their individual blog posts uniquely theirs.
We’re especially proud that some of our learners took the exciting step of being able to embed their Google Drawings directly into their blogs and then publish their posts for the world to see! This is a fantastic achievement in digital literacy and really shows their growing confidence with online tools.
It’s wonderful to see the effort and creativity poured into these “All About Me” projects. They’re not just learning about technology; they’re learning to express themselves and share their stories.
