For today’s adventure, I’m diving into activity fifteen from the Spring Learning Journey (SPLJ) and the challenge is super cool. I had to create a blog post all about Kate Sheppard! I got to explore who she is, why she’s such an important person in New Zealand history, and of course, why she’s on the $10 note. I learned so much about her courage, determination, and how she used her voice to make a positive difference in the world.
One thing that really surprised me was how brave and determined she was, even when lots of people didn’t agree with her. I love how she fought for what is right, not just for herself but all women in New Zealand. It made me think about how using your voice can actually change thingslike, wow, one person can make a huge difference!
I found this activity fun and interesting because I learnt so much about Kate Sheppard and has definitely taught me so much about how I can fight for what is right, for not only me but for everyone else who feels the same way I do.
