In Term 3 for Reading, my reading group focused on a book called The Zoo Crew. We completed a range of activities but the activities that I completed were – Answering comprehension questions, recording ourselves reading a paragraph from the book. And finding different types of language features from the book. We then had to explain why they fit in as a good example.
Some of the language features we looked for were idioms, alliteration, similes, metaphors, and onomatopoeia. If you don’t know what these are yet, you will start to learn them as you grow older.
