Some people have birthdays on weekends so some people don’t go anyway.

Idea – Family is more important than school.

On your birthday you want to go and do something with your whanau like going to Christchurch.
It’s good to go out and do something like fishing or something.
You won’t be able to see your family [eg. if they are somewhere far]

Third convincing idea.

Idea – If you go to school on your birthday you don’t have much fun.

Birthdays aren’t about work, it’s about having fun.
You should not work on your b day.
You go to school basically every single day.
