This week we did free write i made my story about a birthday suprise which will happen in the nintenth chapter
The story is meant to be about a girl who has 4 very close friends but on her birthday her friend is planing to kill her because of jealousy
Here is the start of my first chapter
Day 1
August 1 2018
IVY
Ivy woke up to the sound of her phone alarm ringing, when she went to hit snooze it wasn’t there, she looked up and was face to face with her mum “This is the third time I’ve heard this go off, get up you’re going to be late!”
Her mum handed her back her phone and she checked the time “7:45! Ugh why didnt she wake me up the first time.” Ivy whispered to herself, She had completely forgotten it was her first day back!
Ivy was an average 12 year old Australian school girl in Year 8,dark brown hair and bright green eyes. She is very talkative when she is with her friends but not so much with the full class. Her absolute favourite colour is navy blue and white. She has 4 really close friends, Zoe, Isla, Dillon and Rylee. They were the best group of 5!
Ivy finally started getting ready for school and got dressed then brushed her long brown hair and put it up into a ponytail while she was doing the rest of her stuff she was thinking about how excited she was to go back to school. She loved learning new stuff especially Art and Free writing in Literacy with her friends. When she was done getting ready it was 8:10 she had to have left the house at 8:25 because school started at 8:45 and it takes her around 10 minutes to get there and she wanted the other ten minutes to hang out with her friends.
She started packing her bag as her Mum found her schedule for this week and handed it to her to put it in her bag, each year group had a different schedule but always stayed in their year group. She had a look at the schedule to see what she had first, it was languages. Ivy hated languages; the only language she enjoyed learning was French so she hoped they would do French today. She also did not have a good relationship with the teacher Miss Smith, but anyway she left for school at exactly 25 past perfectly on time!
As usual it took her 10 minutes to get there so she had enough time to chat about what they did during the holidays.
“My favourite part of my holiday was definitely our big sleepover for my 13th” Said Dillon
“Yess, Me too” said Zoe
“Yess” everyone agreed.
“Im so sad that i couldent go” Said Rylee
“Yeah, i wish you could have came” Said Ivy
“Same” Agreed Isla
They all said what their favourite part of the holidays was and they all finished explaining just in time for the bell they all headed off to their first class.
They all headed off to Languages together.
In languages they learnt French they learnt how to say
Cat:Chat
Women:Femmes
Girl:Fille
man:homme
boy:garçon
dog:chien
Dillon was very good at French because she had practiced it when she went to France for a couple months last year, but she had forgotten most of the words. As for the other girls they weren’t as good; they knew a couple words but they weren’t very good at pronouncing them. Anyway the girls all enjoyed French, so they were pretty happy that they had French today.
They headed off to their next class which was Mathematics. Dillon, Ivy and Isla really enjoyed mathematics, Rylee and Zoe not so much, they would always complain that the work was too hard even though they always did really well on tests.
They headed of to maths and sat at the seat that they always sat at the one with the comfy chairs (their school didn’t have a seating plan)
