I have completed the kick start, ‘Octopus Oddities’ challenge. I chose to colour a simple picture, drawing the ‘classic’ octopus a deep shade of purple. I found the online colouring easier to use than I anticipated but still found it difficult on my Chromebook. I learned many new facts about octopus, for example,
- There are around three hundred known species of octopus in the world.
- Octopus have copper based blood which causes their blood to be blue.
- Octopus have three hearts.
- Octopus can taste and smell through the suckers on their arms.
- Octopus are extremely intelligent.
- Female octopus die after laying the eggs.
