LI: To understand what honouring the treaty means.
We explored the different ways on how we can honour the Treaty of Waitangi . The Treaty of Waitangi is important because in 1840 Feburary 6th represents the signing of the Tiriti o Waitangi. While doing this activity Aryna and I found out that even if you think you do not take part in Waitangi you have obviously participated in either going to Matariki lights or even greeting people with “Kia ora”.
