Hello everyone today I am going to tell you about what we have been doing it science.
Diffusion
What we did for diffusion is we had two glasses fill with water one hot, water one with cold water and you put potassium permanganate in it and time it the hot one is quicker the cold. and the hot on it faster because of the particle, as the particle are faster because hot particle move much faster the cold water.
Contraction
We heat up a can of cold water and put it on a hot plate and then when it was steaming we put it in cold water upside down and it impolded.
Conduction
We put ice on two thing a plaste plate and one on metal plate and the metal was faster than the plaste and metal is a better conducter than plaste.
Convection
We got and beaker and then we put it over a bunsen burner and then put potassium permanganate to see what would happen and it made the potassium permanganate did water it would normal and expanted in the beaker.
my favorite thing
my favourite experiment was the contraction because of the imploding can and because of a noise.

Aim:
the aim was to look at the can until it steam and then put it in cold water
hypothesis:
as the steam water goes into the cold water it will then impolde.
Equipment:
- Aluminium can
- meat mat
- ice cream contener
- cold water
- hot plate
- scissor tong
Method:
- put safety gear on
- fill the ice cream contener with cold water
- get a heat mat and hot plate and put the hot plate on the heat mat
- fill the can up with water
- and then put the can on to the hot plate
- when it starts to steam use the scissor tongs to move the can it to the cold water upside down
Results:
the can impolded in the water
dicussion:
as the can start to steam the particle start to move more and when put in to the cold water the particle slow down really fast so the can impolde
conclusion:
my hypothesis was right so that and it suports the idea of that.
