Step 1: The Reach
Extend your hand out toward the person you are shaking hands with, but not to a point where you are touching their chest.
Step 2: The Grip
When they reach their hand over to yours, grasp their hand with a slight grip, making sure you are not gripping their hand to hard.
Step 3: The Shake
Now it’s time for the shake. Carefully move each others hand in a swift motion, finally creating a handshake.
