This week is sign language week!
So in my reading group in class we have been reading a book about a deaf girl named Zoe.
We learned how she gets through tough challenges such as dancing and playing tag.
We also learned that in class she either has a professional interpreter or a special teacher of the deaf.
But there are also a couple of students who can interpret for Zoe when those people aren’t at school.
My teacher made slides with activities based on the book.
My favourite part about this was reading the book and doing the activities on the slides.
