Kia Ora,
Today I learned about the Bubonic Plague also called the Black Death. It was a really dangerous disease that spread around Europe a long time ago. The disease spread from fleas that lived on rats and made lots of people really sick. People got fevers felt weak and had big swollen lumps called buboes. Millions of people died because there was no medicine back then. I learned that people were really scared because they didnt know how the disease spread. I also learned that today doctors can treat it with antibiotics if they find it early. I think it was interesting learning about how people lived during that time and how medicine is way better now. link
