In my class we have been doing the rocket challenge.
The rocket challenge is about making rockets with 1.5 litre bottles.
The steps to make a rockets are:
- Make a team ( I am with Aiden and Katia and our name is Mad Astron0ts)
- Ask questions
- Imagine your rocket
- Create your rocket
- Improve your rocket
The step we are on is step three. (imagine your rocket)
On wednesday we test how to fly rockets with the bottles.
We each got a peice of paper with a number, the number meant how many mls of water we put in the bottle.
(My group got 400 ml)
When we finished puting the water in the bottle we put a special cap on to the bottle and placed it on the rocket launcher.
When the bottle was properly on the launcher we had to pump air in the rocket.
I was the one who got to pump the rocket and when I got tired I swapped with Aiden.
After the bottle launch Peta (The teacher of Room 2) Counted how many paces it went( It went 22 Paces)
My favourite part about the rocket challenge was tasting the how much water should go in the bottle.
