Task Description: The end of the term is nearing very quickly and we have to get the music wall plan finished. Currently, we have 3-4 prototypes which we all have combined effort on and a decent plan with the financial prices totals.
For the prototypes we took stabilisation and the shape/ structure of the wall. We made these mini prototypes using Popsicle sticks, hot glue and more materials such as game pieces and other craft materials (straws). We took 2 structures to mind, a regular wall on wheels for transportation or an A frame with wheels as well. We tested both of those out. The first prototype was a regular wall while the other 2-3 were all A frames.
We were supposed to go to a trip to a playground that had demonstrations of safety for the wall and musical instruments, though it was cancelled. Our teacher went to the exact park and took photos for inspiration. As for me, I have been trying to figure out how to attach a chair or add along a transportable chair for short children who can’t reach. Overall, we are yet to finalise the plan and are still working on it. We hope to finish the project beginning next term.
