For the last two weeks we have been learning about poems. This week, we got to write our own poems about whatever we wanted. I wrote a poem about the beach! It’s not like New Brighton beach but I wish it was. I really enjoyed making my poem. Our goal was to make a poem that had metaphors, similes, and alliterations. I think I achieved my goal. Here is my poem.
