The sound came from a nearby stream by a Marae so he tried to smell whatevers making the sound then he smelt a fish smell he thinks its coming from the covered stream so he’s scratching the concrete until he heard poutini’s cries so the cat got a person called Whaea Lestine followed the black cat,The black cat asked Aylah to come so the black cat lead them both to the noise Whaea Lestine went to Owae marae with the black cat and Aylah they heard the thumping as well as the black cat but they couldn’t dig out concrete there self so whaea lestine called out to the whole town for help to free poutini! It took Teamwork to help poutini but poutini wasn’t very happy unfortunately he was FURIOUS and he wanted revenge… So he floated back in the sky where all the other Taniwha Atua are, He told them what had happened but they thought it was because of poutini’s clumsiness he fell into the daylight stream,But he didn’t believe them,The gods tried to pull him back but he was too strong like greenstone so the Atua out of there grip! Then he got every frustration out of him by making it rain!
But then after all of that he bursted out crying while the whole town was flooded… he was very disappointed in himself he’s never lost control like this ever! His brothers and sisters felt guilty so they all came together and hugged Poutini to calm him down but there’s a problem the town was STILL flooding so all the Atua came together using powers at the same time they managed to stop the rain! And everyone in the town was happy but some people died from all the flood…so he apologised to the whole entire town by giving them free food and water for eternity and he thanked everyone but mostly the black cat, Whaea lestine, and Aylah!
