WALT: checking for understanding before, during and after texts.
Hi bloggers the text we were learning was living in groups it was about animals living in groups. It first talked about elephants living in herds to protect the calves. The leader is a female because they are bigger than males, the oldest elephant leads the herd to watering hole and food because they are the oldest.
Wolves stay in packs to hunt for food they all charge at the enemy and eat them. The two leaders of the pack are the alpha pair it is a male and female and they breed for pups.
Most small fish live in shoals a shoal is a very large group of fish that move when the first fish makes a move.
Birds fly in a V shape to get the feeding grounds but do they get there after a long flight there you may ask?
So they have one bird in the front and flies and get’s the air to the other birds fly so it uses less energy, this is called gliding.
Snakes hunt in a den and huddle together and it makes it look a wriggle of all of them.
Zebras have black and white stripes in the same line and predators can’t hunt them because there is a ton of them and they are the same.
And that is the whole book.
The first create task I have done is 2 truths and a lie the same as that other blog
you have to do 2 truths from the text and 1 lie that you have to make up on your own. The part I have enjoyed was doing the lies because I like lies they are funny and creative. No hard parts of this create task.

Now for my 2nd create task this was a animal fact file it was about elephants you had to type in facts for it and species and it’s diet, what it does too.
It was a bit challenging because of not much of facts of the elephant but I chose elephant because it was a cool animal.
I enjoyed this because of how cool elephants are and there tusks.
Have not learnt anything new.
Anyways bye bloggers.
