This week we have been revising recounts which isn writing about something we have done in the past This is one of my stories.
Rollerskating
On the school holidays, I went to play at my friend’s house. My friend’s names were Hajira and Luqman. We were playing outside because my friend Hajira said.
After we played I asked my friend Hajira if I could ride on the side path with her rollerskates and she said yeah so I went down and I kept falling. It was so funny I couldn’t breathe. My friend Luqman was helping me to be steady so I wouldn’t fall.
We came back from roller skating and went inside.Luqman asked his mum if we could have snacks and she said yes. We ate popcorn outside and we were riding Hajira’s scooter. It was so fun because we threw the popcorn in the air and tried to catch it with our mouth. Then we went inside to watch the ice age movie on netflix.
I needed to go back to my house because Hajira’s family was going to Sylvia Park. I said goodbye and waited till they went. I had so much fun with my friends and I was sad because I still wanted to play.
