What did you learn?
I learn about how to say clothes and food in Maori and learning the matariki karakias
The matariki karakias where like talking about waiti is just talking about how waiti is just fresh water and waita is just about salt water and tipuarangi is talking about the flocking birds also tipuanuku is talking about the fertile soil and there is more but i cant remember the rest. The food and clothes are more complicated because if your nan or someone only speaks Maori then you would be in trouble haha but the food is more easy to learn but the clothes on th either hand its not that hard but it a little bit is if you get me because these are some of the words like iri kakahu is coat hanger, kakahu moe is obviously pyjamas, kameta is a scarf and also kapata kakahu is a wardrobe.
What did you enjoy about it?
I enjoyed that i can now tell my mum and dad what the clothes and food are in Maori and then they will be like whats that and i will be like its bala bala bala you know and then i can make fun of them as a joke obviously and i can do it to my sisters to but im sister named ducky will probably know what i said haha but my oldest sister i dont know if she will know what i said and i can probably do it to my brother to haha he will crash out lol that will be so funny to see there face be like aye what that haha i cant wait to tell them i think my mum will be like okay you MaOrI and my dad will be like ayeeeee Maori g haha i cant wait to see there face.
Would you like to do more of it?
I hope we can learn more about Maori culture and like matariki because i need to learn more about my culture so when i grow up i can tell my kids and then they can past it on well i hope they past it on so our culture can get bigger and bigger so then the culture can get more stronger so then we can speak it 24/7 thats why i love my culture.
