For our inquiry topic, we have been learning about how Pasifika people navigated to different places. We designed and built our own model Waka. The materials I used were iced block sticks and chopsticks. I also used tin foil and joined it together with a hot glue gun. A feature I like is the mast because it was fun. We floated our Waka in the school pool.
My Waka floated. If I could make changes to my Waka I would i would change the mast because it fell off easily.
