At midnight on a chill winter night a kid wakes up to drink some water then the kids hear a noise then he watches  intimidating

then a monster came from the cup board and says I will be telling jokes all night but the kids say I need sleep and tells the monster to go to there parents the kid hers as the parents scream that the dad calls the police urgently then the police come to the house an takes the monster

Did you know that a raw cucumber is actually just 95% water? They also can depuff your eyes. Also low blood sugar can be fixed by just eating a cucumber. A cucumber tastes juicy and lightly sweet. I like cucumbers because they are healthy and they taste very good. Cucumbers were also thought to be poisonous when they first originated. Cucumbers feel lumpy with little holes in them. A cucumber is long and curvy depending on the way it’s grown. I like it sliced with salt on it.

It was a windy day in a shady town. Jogging in the rain but no one else. students parents kids all afraid to go out said. Acid rain drip drop run or Die its going to be the same. But if you hide your safe and sound but look whos that in the dark. moving to you but when you blink you end up somewhere in the dark…

• I like my animation because at the end the flower girl says that the cabbage is cute
• What do you like about my animation?

Maths

This week for maths we learned how to divide and multiply whole numbers and write the answer in decimals. We also learned how to do doubling and halving with multiplication.

Doubling and halving is when you either first half or double the number and then times the remaining number to get your answer.

Reading 

This week for reading we learned about health and what is good for our body to get us growing.

To keep a healthy body you should eat a good amount of food throughout the day but the twist is that the food you eat has to be healthy. If you do feel like having takeaway or something you could have it, it is your choice entirely but then again you have to have a decent amount, so maybe takeaways once a week.

With that we learned how to make a summary from a story.

Writing  

This week for writing we did free writing but we had to make a hook at the beginning.

A hook is when you make a fun starting to the story so the reader has a tensy hint of what the story might be about or to make the reader into the story and interested.

Here is my writing from this week:

The sky was filled with clouds like black cotton candy. The pathway was gloomy and dark, scary and intense. I was seating in fear, drop by drop falling to the grass floor. The trees were like skinny zebra legs wonky and twisted. I hesitated to even move one tiny step forward. — Hook paragraph

I then inhaled and exhaled trying to be brave. I took one big step but I suddenly heard noises and movement. It sempt like I had activated something by taking my big step. I pull in my leg thinking that the magical forest might deactivate. But the opposite happened. Tiny head figures were sticking out just ready to pounce. They snickered like hyenas. “Grr …ROAR!” A creature came flinging out, urgent red eyes and a spiky body. I stood there in surprise. I start having thoughts of what I should do. “Oh I know, run!!!!”. I sprinted to my house as fast as I could trying to sprint like a mighty cheetah. I stopped, panting like a dog. As I looked behind, the creature was out of sight. It must have run away. But no-one was actually sure if the creature was not here…or here, we didn’t know.

Reading

This week for reading we learned about ourselves and what main idea is.

Main idea is like the topic of the story. Some ways of figuring out the main idea is to look for repeated sentences/words, highlight some details that you think can help you figure out the main idea and lastly read titles and heading so you have small hint of what the topic might be about.

This week for maths we learned about three different strategies/things.

1. Place value partitioning
2. Reversibility (which was the hardest)
3.  Rounding and compensating

We also had a collaborative task where we used these strategies to figure out the answer to our collaborative problem.

Writing  

This week for writing we had to pick a picture and describe it into a story. It had to be a narrative.

A narrative is a made up story that should include precise verbs, Adverbs and adjectives.

1. precise verbs- verbs are doing things and precise means that the verb has to be precise and more exciting
2. adverbs- words with (ly) at the back, for example: excitingly, and they have to be descriptive verbs.
3.  adjective- my favourite, adjectives are describing words that are really exciting and cool.

the Dangerous World by Dylan Malhotra

The haunted house 

Once upon a time we went to sell our house . To buy a bigger one then we moved all of our stuff into the new house .Then we relaxed for the rest of the afternoon until we went to bed. and we had a really good sleep but it was really cold. It was winter .we unpacked the rest of our stuff for the rest. We threw a party all night and then at 3.00 am the power went out. and our big generator would  not work so flo0r the rest of the night we went to my friend’s house to finish the party there .

ALl of my work was challenging for me and it was fun i love doing it.
