In room 4 we have been learning about a book called ‘The Wharepaku Trick’. It’s about 5 kids building a hut and they have to do chores if they finish eating. So they came up with a trick and they say they have to go to the Wharepaku but they actually finish building their hut. At the end they get caught and they do their chores.

A long time ago, there lived a sheep called princess sheep. She lived in a village. Also her house was a glimmering, three story castle. There was also a little rock that lived in a cottage across the road.

The little rock decided to go visit the princess. When he got there. He hit the door so hard that the whole village heard it and stared at him, but when princess sheep opened the door the villagers stopped staring at little rock. “What’s going on out here”complained princess sheep.

Then little rock asked “may I stay the night” then princess sheep said “yes you may stay the night, but it’s getting late, so let’s go choose you a room to sleep in for the night” so the two went to bed. In the morning they had breakfast, and little rock asked if he could stay one more night so he did. This time when Princess Sheep went to bed she really needed a drink. So she hooped out of bed and got a drink, but when she came back… little rock snuck under the mattress and Princess Sheep got no sleep.

After breakfast, Little Rock went out of town and went to a place called New York City. When he got there he went to a cafe, and wore a black suit and a red tie. So he went in the cafe, and he found his true love. Then he got married. But then Princess Sheep also got married And they all lived happily ever after. The end.

Last week I was learning about social media ban for under 16s I liked learning about it do you have social media on top of that here is my audio.

There is currently a bill in Parliament that says New Zealand should ban all social media for Under 16 yr olds.  This slide gives you a little insight into what we have been learning.  I personally think that we should ban it because it harmful for us kids.

I am doing a poster a about Under 16 social media.  We are learning to summarise what we have been reading.  This is my summary of the Under 16 social media ban that is currently in parliament.

Currently in parliament there is a ban saying that social media will be banned. Things like Tik Tok, Instagram, Snapchat, and YouTube. It was hard to be for it or against it I’m for it. Watch this video and see what me and my friends said about it.

In class we are learning about the under sixteen’s social media ban. Our task was to do a create about it. I did mine with Shayla. We chose to make a newscast about it.Do you want to ban all under sixteens from social media?
