This is my Get Creative.  It is a class that our teacher runs where we have to choose our own learning.  I chose Minecraft and here is one of my worlds.

 On Tuesday the 30 of march we went to a scieance Road show. they came to our hall. hen we first got in to the hall there where a few other classes. we were one of the last clases to get there.  They instructers introducided themselfs to us. there names where jess, steph and merry They showed us a few explotions with ballons. they where very loud we where told to block our ears. It was very loud I could still hear it with my ears fully blocked. It even shook the ground. they had heaps of things around the hall. after the experiments we got to walk around and go to any activity we want. I went to the rocket shooter. we had to shoot these soft foam. there where long ones and short ones. the short ones worked beter because they where lighter so they travelled faster but they where a little more thin then the big ones so it was a little hard to hit the target but I hit it after a few goes. after I went to some handprints on them there was copper written on two aliminuam and another zink with to. there was a preasure gadge in the midle and it showed how much electrisity you had inside you.I got up to fifty witch was the max thet was around about all I did.

Tuesday the 30th of March,The Science Roadshow came to my college, the Science Roadshow is a truck that contains heaps of equipment that is used in scientific experiments. They started setting up all of the science activites and experiments. I think they started setting everything up at about 9. And at 10:30 my class and me went over to the hall and it was our time to do the activites and experiments. We were welcomed into the hall by one of the people running the show, I think her name was Steph. We then sat down and two other people introduced themselves. They said that there names were Mary and Jess.

They both showed us some experiments and facts. I had two favourite things they showed us, the first one I enjoyed the most was the using orange peel on a balloon. How it worked was she had a balloon that was blowen up and tied up. And she was using the “JUICE” from the orange peel and it caused the balloon to pop! My second favourite that Jess and Mary showed us was, a fire tornado. How they did it was she lit a fire using a candle. The candle was on a spinning platform. Jess then used a steel shaped bin, and place it on top of the platform. She then spun the platform and it made a spinning fire tornado. It was really cool!

After they showed us those and a few more, we got to look around at some other fun things, my favourite was this spinning chair thing. What would happen is there is a blanked with black and white stripes, you then sit on the chair in the inside and spin it around. You’re suppose to keep a close eye on one of the black or white lines when you spin, so when you walk out, it’s suppose to be difficult when you walk as you’re suppose to feel dizzy.

 we have been making sail boats and I will tell you how I made mine firs I hot glued two big tins together then hot glued a square of Styrofoam on top then put a tooth pick in the Styrofoam and a plastic bag in the middle and got two more tooth picks for support  and then gave it some colour. and I think my sail boat will work pretty well

 This week we’ve been making sail boats. I have been working on my boat with Sammy. We used skewers, ice cream container, a bag and some plastic for the keel, we also put a person made out of the materials! This was really fun and I hope our sail boat will float in the school pool! 

 Yesterday we went to the science road show in the hall.The things that i liked was the rocket gun

u had to fire the rocket at the target with the big rocket or small rocket u had to remember what rocket

went faster  for me it was the small one it went faster because it was light than the big rocket was slow.

The best one a liked was the last show they had a balloon they putted nitrogen fire on the balloon

then it exploded because nitrogen is flamble,Long ago back in May 6 1937 the Hindenburg

disaster was an airship that exploded because it fuel was nitrogen and it exploded.It was 

 landing in Lakehurst New Jersey.

The last thing i liked was these little pots that had the flavours of fruit some of them were  mint

orange,strawberry and lemon.So that’s my recap on The science road show.

Me and my class ( SWL ) went to the science road show at our school! We had our first show and then had a look around, also had a play with some of them. Before we came it was raining and we had to line up out side. The ladies name that came in with us was Steph. We had another lady name was Mary. I liked the one with the rocket guns and the illusion spinney thing. Here is some photos of the science rocket thing!
