Today was the last day of term 3 and we had the best day although we had to do work in the first block it was still fine this term we have been a little mucked up but still got through the term. This term was really fun we go to go to the beach we had fun activities to do we had a lot of cool prizes that Mrs Parrant has gave us and She has been a blessing to us and she got everything organized for every week even thought she had a late schedule. This term I have been a little silly but Next term my goals are……!focusing on getting my work finished and less talking The next one is Being respectful and helping the teachers and the last one is being kind to each-other even thought I still am kind I just need to focus on getting my anger a bit low and my kindness 100% Next term will be very exciting. This term we have been learning about Claude Monet and his famous art works For our art we painted and made with our hands the bridge over the water lilies My big shout outs go to Mrs Parrant,Mrs Ginn,Mrs Sio for making this term end well and planning all those fun things for us in those 10 weeks Thank you and I hope you enjoyed.
Speech Topic – All kids should play sport!
WALT share our opinion about a topic in a persuasive way.
I’m sure that everyone likes sport!!! I’m going to tell you why all kids should play sports.
Firstly I think kids should play sport because you get fresh air and you get fit and healthy! Being fit and healthy is important for everyone. If you don’t do sports you won’t be fit and healthy. Do you want to be fit and strong? Well I do!!! Did you know that if you do not do sports you might be an overweight adult?
Secondly, playing sports can help you to live longer. Did you know that?? I’m with the people that like doing sports and getting plenty of exercise!
Thirdly, playing sport is fun. Do you play sports? When I do sports I feel happy. It is extremely fun to do sport because you’re playing, spending fun times with friends and doing something that is good for you!! Don’t ever be afraid to give different sports a go.
These are the reasons why I think all kids should play sports.

T3 W10 Create tasks Worm wise
Walt: identify the elements of an explanation across a wide variety of texts.
Hi readers!
Do you remember that it was a holiday this Monday cause of Queen Elizabeth’s death? Because of that, reading create tasks this week was quite easy. We had to obviously blog cause it’s the last week of term 3.
For a must do,we had to make a kahoot quiz with 10 questions on it. It was easy and also fun sorting out questions because there was lots of information in the book, and in other challenges, scaffold and complementary texts. But I couldn’t blog the kahoot quiz because the whole kahoot thing was made, can’t be blogged.
For can do, I did a word search and it’s quite hard. I hope you get them all!
Answers are also in that too!
Reflection: I really liked making up questions and putting it into a kahoot quiz and playing it. But what I think I have to work on is to skim and scan carefully and look out for some good key words( I think I put in a not that interesting word in my word search.)
Bye!
Kids use too much technology
WALT share our opinion about a topic in a persuasive way.
I think kids use technology too much!
Firstly kids should not go on technology too much, all the time because it will rot your brain. If you play too many games you will be so tired and you won’t be able to learn. Kids use technology too much for gaming and I think technology should be just for learning.
You should not use so much technology because you won’t get enough fresh air and you will faint. If you do not get enough exercise you will not be healthy and your brain won’t not work, then your body slows down.
Lastly if you use technology too much it will hurt your eyes. You might have to wear glasses forever, that is why you should not use technology too much. I think technology is bad for you, I only use technology for 1 hour each night.
These are the reasons why I think kids should NOT use technology too much!
Highlight of Term 3!!
Talofa lava, Welcome back to my blog. Today I am writing a blog post about my Highlight of the Term. My Highlight of the term was probably preforming in front of the whole school. Mama’d,Neomi,Me and Selesa preformed in front of the whole school on the 29th of September 2022 Term 3.
We preformed in front of the whole school because it was a Art Exhibition. The item we preformed was a Siva Samoa. The things we wore when we preformed, was a Puletasi. A Puletasi is a traditional item clothing worn by Samoan,Tongan and Fijian Women and Girls. The colour theme of our Puletasi were blue. It took a lot of time to practice our Siva Samoa. It took 4 weeks for us to learn the item.
Calves are the best pets
Today I’m going to tell you why calves are the best pets.
Firstly you can run around with your calf in the paddock and have lots of fun.
Secondly calves suck your hands. It feels good and tickly.
Thirdly, calf poo is very useful for your garden. It will help your garden grow.
That’s why calves are the best pets.
Maths: Hip Hop Hup
Task Description: Hi readers, this is my Maths task for the week. This task is called Hip Hop Hup, which is basically addition and subtraction but using something that we call a number line. I hope you enjoy.
I think we should be able to choose our school lunches!
WALT share our opinion about a topic in a persuasive way.
I think we should be able to choose our lunches for the week because we can choose the food we enjoy.
If we are able to choose our school lunches kids will eat the food and there won’t be a lot of mess and the kids will eat the food.
There won’t be as much food waste because the kids will eat more of the food because they chose it.
If we eat our school lunches we will be able to work hard in class because our tummies are full.
These are all the reasons why I think we should be able to choose our school lunches.

Jupiter Presentation
For Science I had to do a presentation about Jupiter it was hard to find Specific information about Jupiter but I think I did well.
My create task about George
Hey!
This week we have been doing book choices and there was 7 books to choose from again it was like last weeks I read Our Hero. That book was quite sad. Because There was a dog called George he was a Jack Russell Terrier. One day he was walking with his owners/childrens and then a Pit Bull came out of no where and started attacking the childrens but George attacked them by being brave and trying to protect them so the 2 Pit Bull’s started attacking George and he got bitten so badly he had to go to the Local Vet. So Sir Anand Satyanand decided to award him (SPCA) which stand for: Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. And he recieved 3 purple heart shaped medal fo bravery.
Here’s my must do which is a Kahoot and it’s Friday aga
And then I was doing my Pixton Comic Strip but I didn’t finish it

Mana Ako Club Holiday Challenge
Language is a vital part of human connection. Although all species have their ways of communicating, humans are the only ones that have mastered cognitive language communication. Language allows us to share our ideas, thoughts, and feelings with others.
It has the power to build societies, but also tear them down. It may seem obvious, but if you’re asking yourself, why is language important? You’ll have to break it down to truly understand why.
Language is what makes us human. It is how people communicate. By learning a language, it means you have mastered a complex system of words, structure, and grammar to effectively communicate with others.
To most people, language comes naturally. We learn how to communicate even before we can talk and as we grow older, we find ways to manipulate language to truly convey what we want to say with words and complex sentences.
Of course, not all communication is through language, but mastering a language certainly helps speed up the process. This is one of the many reasons why language is important.
Language helps us express our feelings and thoughts. This is unique to our species because it is a way to express unique ideas and customs within different cultures and societies. By learning a foreign language, you can understand ideas and thoughts that may be different from your own culture.
You can learn customs and how people interact in a given society. Language helps preserve cultures, but it also allows us to learn about others and spread ideas quickly.
When discussing topics like inclusive language, it’s easy to recognize that language, today, is changing alongside culture. With technology comes trends or different ways of speaking, like how many teenagers or young people use slang when they speak.
When societies become more open-minded and progressive, we start accepting that there are many other ways of speaking language. Many of us know the answer to why language is important, but we often take language for granted or actually don’t think about it. Language is an important life skill, particularly in school and in the workplace.
Language is one of the most important parts of any culture. It is the way by which people communicate with one another, build relationships, and create a sense of community. There are roughly 6,500 spoken languages in the world today, and each is unique in a number of ways.
Communication is a core element of any society, and language is an important aspect of that. As language began to evolve, different cultural communities put together shared understandings through sounds. Over time, these sounds and their infer meanings became commonplace and language was formed.
Intercultural communication is a symbolic process whereby social reality is constructed, maintained, and repCultural identity is heavily dependent on a number of factors including ethnicity, gender, geographic location, religion, language, and so much more.
Culture is defined as a historically transmitted system of symbols, meanings, and norms. Knowing a language automatically authorises someone to identify with others who speak the same language.
This connection is such an important part of cultural exchange. As people with different cultural backgrounds interact, one of the most difficult barriers they face is that of language.
Feeling up for a task? Watching movies or TV in different languages is a great way to start. If you’re feeling even more motivated, seek out language courses offered in your community.
Check out online learning communities, or download an app like Duolingo to begin your path to broader, more effective, and more personal communication! What are some ways that you connect with people cross-culturally?
Bye babes
