Last week Nga Rau Rangatira and Nga Rau Puawai went down to the pool to test our boats. We used coins to see how many coins we could fit on our boat (coins=people) first we saw if our boats could float and they all did next we started putting coins on and then boats started to sink one by one to the bottom of the pool.

- Glue stick
- Popsicle sticks
- Cupcake cups
- Ribbons
- Pom Poms
- Tape
Steps/Methods:
- Grab your cupcake cups
- Fold them in half
- Pinch the corner of the cup
- Glue the side and squish them together
- Glue them on your Popsicle stick
- Grab the Ribbon and cut with a scissor.
- Grab the tape and cut a bit of tape off and tape the ribbon up
- Grab the glue sticks and Pom poms and glue them on to the sticks.
Taumarere
Taumarere is a locality in North land, New Zealand. State Highway 11 runs through the area. The Kawakawa River runs through Taumarere into the Bay of Islands. The town of Kawakawa is 3 km to the southwest. Paihia is 14 km to the north.

The train tracks to Opua were originally used for coal transport and marketing and selling to other countries.
Now there are no coalmines because there is no need for the train to transport coal anymore so they use the tracks to do tours and talk about the history of that place.

This week we have been doing a reflection on how we think we did this year and the stuff we liked and disliked. This year was a little bit of a struggle for me but i got threw it.

The reason we had to learn about it is because we were going to Curious Cove, a camp which is in one of the sounds. If you look at the map you can see we started at Otaki and ended at Curious cove. My Reflection
How did I do?
I think Me and my group did a good job. We worked together perfectly and talked about what parts we were going to do that we could agree on. We had a little struggle and disagreement on what flavors we were going to add but still ended up agreeing with the flavors we choose. Other than that I did good in my group along with my group
What was hard/ what could have been done better?
I think we needed more salted ice so that the ice cream would be more solid. I think the hard part was shaking the bag for 5 minutes since my hands started getting cold once in a while.
What was easy/what did I enjoy?
I found putting the ingredients in since our teacher setted up the bags,ice,cream and that. I found tasting other peoples ice cream was cool because everyone had a different taste and texture.
Overall I really enjoyed making ice cream because my group and I worked maturely and fairly. I liked tasting other peoples ice cream and making our own ice cream. But if we had more salted ice than the ice cream could’ve been more solid.

next year I think it will be pretty cool not having a full day of homeroom and doing subject that i like. next year i think i need to do more reading plus because this year i got a lot of 69% and under and i think i need to work on oc pride for wearing the right college socks and shoes.
