There is a book which is made up but actually has some real facts in it like how there are three real gorillas in the story and some of the scenes are based on Ivans life

The summer learning journey step it up activity! This activity tasked my classmates and I to make a animation, drawing etc of a manu I watched a video on how to do a manu. First you knee down on what what ever platform you are on, Then you stand up straight but also leaning forward and dont jump, After that you want to tuck into a V shape with your body and when you hit the water tight tuck, Then push back.
I enjoyed this task because I learnt how to do a manu because of these videos, I think I did well in making the animation. I think I did well at making the splash. I need to improve on more detail.
For this kick start activity we are tasked of making a google drawing with curves making it seem like a manu splash. First I watched videos of how to make my manu splash: I first searched the sea once I had the image I inserted the picture, Then I inserted shapes and curved them to make it look like a manu splash! I also used the fill tool to colour in the curved shaped splashes.
I enjoyed making this because I learnt how to make custom manu splashes in a Google Drawing. I think I need to improve on using more details, I think I did good at making the little drops when the splash is coming down.

Soundtrack of my Life
Poetry
In the corner of my room, my pleasant and mellow bed awaits,
A place of refuge where tranquillity dictates.
Where velvety pillows and linens meet in a tender cuddle
This place is mine, the place I never struggle
Wrapped in a quilt, the problems stray away,
Floating through dreams, wishing to stay.
In this hospitable withdrawal, everything is right
Finding amenities in the quietness of the night
Christchurch – This is where my Mum and Stepdad, Dad and 2 sisters are.
They support me in many ways. I liked it when they came and watched me at the South Island Schools Athletics day. I am looking forward to being apart of this year.
Mum shows me her support by attending school meetings with my teachers.
Both parents buys the sour kids patch lollies for me. they know is my favourite.
I have my own room. At dads I have my own TV – I get to watch TV from my bed.
I like to play sports and my favourite is basketball.
When I am with my mom I feel like I belong. Or when I’m in my house.
To me, home is something that makes you feel like you are safe. Safe enough to do absolutely anything you want, and be vulnerable as you want.
Hello everyone, Today I’ll be answering two questions about Social Studies. The topic for today is Tūrangawaewae, a place to stand where you feel like you belong and feel connected. Tūrangawaewae is where you feel comfortable, safe, and proud of where you stand.
My home is my safe space. It’s filled with the people I love, the people I feel safe with, and the people I feel like I can show my true colours. My house envelopes me in a safe and comfortable space. Honestly, I don’t think it’s the house, it’s the people I am surrounded with.
A home is where I can feel safe and comfortable with

Today, I made a underwater diving helmet. I use some things like pens and felts and made one with a clock on it so I can tell the time. Then I had to take a picture of it and put it on my blog. I liked doing another summer learning journey and I can’t wait for the next one.

Talofa Lava my readers,
This is my first blog post of 2025. In Social Studies, we were instructed to make a flag about ourselves. Which has a bunch of pictures that can also describe ourselves. Hope you enjoy mine, thanks!

Today I did Wavey words. I had to make this poster and it has words of marine life and extra. Then I used word art then grabbed my words and started doing them how I wanted it and then put it on my blog. I really like doing this that I will be back tommorow for Day 2.
