learning years which I clearly enjoyed.
so if you can all witness with me, I’d like to personally “thank” and “congratulate” teachers that taught me through out the years.
Mrs Simonds, you were the first teacher that showed me what a real begginer school experience was, and for that I am forever grateful. I can even remember how in those days I barely talked and socialised with people, but you introduced me to the light.
Mrs Newman, even though you’re gone, I would always remember how much joy you gave me once I joined your class even if you were a bit grumpy (sorry if that sounded offensive).
Mrs Cameron I might not be able to remember that much experience I’ve had from you in your class but it’s clear that you’re indeed an excellent teacher.
Mrs Walliams, I remember how I got in trouble in your class “A LOT”, but none of that was on Purpose, I just couldn’t understand half the stuff you were teaching me so I apologise for that but I also thank you for teaching me that kind of stuff.

Whaea Becks and Whaea Chrissy, you were the best teachers that i looked up to in  school experience, new learning, new fun, new ways, you taught me how to feel good about myself.
you taught me how to give “Kindess”, “respect”, “honorship” “all” that good stuff to my classmates, to my Tupuna/elders and to society aka the world.
along with looking after it.
thanks to that, I can finally feel inner peace within myself.
I also want to wish Whaea Becks on his adventurous journey.
and I’d like to wish Whaea Chrissy the best of luck whenever she becomes Princible.
speaking of the Princible, I’d like to “THANK” Mrs Lindsey.
Mrs Lindsey, I honestly do not know what to say.

I just couldn’t believe it, it was umimaginable.

I am truly sorry to all those people I have missed and have not enlisted.
but please do not think that even if you are not on the list I do no feel a lack of respect, because I swear by my soul that somewhere in my life that you have something extremely special for me.

The purpose of this activity is to speak about our roots. Taika Waititi is a producer and a director who does majority of his work away from his home. He uses his pepeha to introduce himself to others. This is for us to introduce ourselves and for people to know where we come from and who we represent. Here is my pepeha.

In week 5 the Yr 7&8’s went down to Wellington for camp. We left school at 9:30 and made our way down to Auckland. Our flight was at 3:00, first we checked in and went through security. I thought the plane ride was going to be scary but it wasn’t so bad. We arrived in Wellington at around 3:30 then hopped off the plane and went down to the baggage claim and grabbed our baggage. Next we waited for Aunty Prue and Mrs Lindsay to bring the vans around. Once they brought the vans around we hopped in, we then started to make our way to the marae which wasn’t far from the city. We arrived at the entrance and jumped out of the vans then lined up to walk onto the marae and be welcomed with a Powhiri. Once we were welcomed onto the marae when got to talk more with the staff that were there and got to know them better since we were staying there for a week. We then grabbed our gears out of the vans and settled in inside the marae. Throughout the week we went to cool places such as the Te papa, The University, Mt Victoria, Cable car museum, The Library, Westpac stadium, the park and Parliament. My favorite thing about this trip was going to the Zoo because I got to see lots of interesting animals and got to go behind the scenes to see how and what the zookeeper’s fed all there animals. My favorite animal was the giraffes because I found I found them satisfying because they were so tall and big. I don’t know if I might go to the university in Wellington, but I hope so.

We had to find someone that left a legacy behind our town. I write about Hundertwasser he left a legacy by his art. lots of people come to kawakawa to take a picture
