We have been making smaller versions of wind turbines.
Like a fan, wind turbines use wind to make electricity. Wind turns the propeller-like blades of a turbine around a rotor, which spins a generator, which creates electricity, to power cities.
My hero
When I think about who my hero is, my thoughts go to my koro. He isn’t around anymore but if i think about him i immediately remember him and his glasses.
If you saw my koro you would notice his hair would never change, my koro had short black hair, blue eyes, and he always wore a silver watch. He had four kids and four or five siblings and I only know two of them.
He was great at building, and he was a really understanding person. He was a great gardener and always had beautiful flowers blooming, he was a kind and happy person. The one thing my koro liked to do was cut gumboots near the ankle bone and wear them, but he was a really nice and hard working person. He was a hoarder and had a lot of things in his shed. He is my hero because of how he cared for me.
I really enjoyed learning about Pinwheels and Wind Turbines. They are very interesting and they are both sort of the same.

We have been learning about wind so we having been making a miniature versions of a wind turbine and finding out how pinwheels are like wind turbines. Pinwheels are like wind turbines because the “blades” act as cups and capture the air so they can move with the power of the wind.

This week in Social studies we have been researching the 8 events and getting the key information and detailing it. After getting out all the key information we were to put it all in our own words and do a final paragraph at the end where we explain what we had learned. I found out that the decree pretty much removed all freedom such as the freedom of speech, the right to own property and the right to trial before imprisonment. This was thoughtful for me to know and helpful because I got an understanding of what others were going through back in the days. A question that I would like to ask is why they lost their own right to freedom? This is the end of my reflection if you read it all Kia ora!
The nazi is a party controlled by germans, a main man in this party is someone who was once feared by all people named Hitler something i liked was when the man who was killing all the jews came and told them that they are free, I didnt like the nazi mainly because they were taking innocent jews lifes, young or old they had no mercy I know now how the jew’s were treated in their own country and most likely on their own land and i am grateful that our tupuna did not have to go through that I would like to know how the people that killed the jew’s were after the war, like how they were mentally knowing they killed all the innocent people

The nazi is the rich germans and they only care about there selfs.
In the shindlers list the nazi may have killed heapsof jews but at the end of the movie a nazi himself saved about 2,000 jews because he had enough of the killing and the slavary so he took the jews and gave them food and a place to stay after 6 years of cold blooded war. The infomation that I gathered and researched gave me a insight about the type of people who were apart of the Nazi gang, This was thoughtful for me to know and understand because I needed to create a explanation about them.Why did they only kill the jews like why not kill some of the nazis or the germans like how is that fair or equal. This concludes my short paragrah kia ora.
Racism comes from people spreading rumours. The gossip attracts people and gets them interested. Don’t spread misinformation about people or avoid having conversations with people about being racist. This is related to how the Jews were treated. They were treated very badly. The Nazis thought they weren’t worth anything. The Nazi germanys in slaved the Jews to work for them and they always were treated bad for example they could never eat properly or have a house because any nazi could just take their house. Why did countries get people to work for them for example America got the Black/Nigro people to work for them.
