we have been doing the fact of the day so I research about penguins and I thought it was really fun

 

This week In class I had to do a fact of the day research and I chose sloths I found it fun but hard have you ever done research on something like I did here is my research comment if you like the slide.

     today I made a slide called kimono fats it will tell all you need about kamoto dragons the hard part was finding the right place to get the code the easy part was finding the facts. by

Mr Peabody

This writing is about a person named Mr Peabody he is a very mean man and he is part of  the  ministry of education but Mr Peabody is fake just what my teacher made up. Let’s start.

Hi Mr Peabody, there must have been some confusion. My classmates and I have been doing good with our work. We work really hard every day. You might think we have not been learning that much but most of my classmate learn very fast plus mee 

We need the rest of our holidays to get back our energy for school and other activities at school.

 Lastly, I can’t really see my cousins that much. The only time I see my cousins is when there is a holiday or a special event happening and  my other family members.

 And that’s why we need our holiday.

Do  you guys think holidays can be good for us?

One day my grandma told me that for the holidays we are going to Fiji. I was very excited to hear that but that was 2 months away. Then during the holidays I started packing my bags and my suitcase.

When we got to the airport we were checking in and signing in. When we hopped on the plane I went straight to watching tv. 3 hours later we arrived in Fiji.

The first thing we did was sit down at the couches and listened to the instructors. They told us all the rules and gave us all a peach drink. It was really good. After they gave us the key to our room and we relaxed there for 15 minutes then our suitcases were coming on a tractor with 2 trailers. Then we got dressed and went for a swim in the pool and went on the slide.

I had the best holiday ever! I love Fiji so much I want to go back.

In Room 12 Whaea Rob pretended  that Mr Peabody took away our holidays.

Whaea Rob and Mrs Matt pretended that Mr Peabody took away our holidays. This is my persuasive writing to convince Mr Peabody not to take away our holidays.

Room 12 has been working really hard on all of our learning. We deserve our holidays.

School holidays enable us to possess our learning and wrap myelin around our new neural pathways. School holidays let me hang out with my cousins Anahera and Manaki and my Nan.

School holidays let me have new experiences like going to the Warriors game in Wellington.

So Mr Peabody I hope convinced you to not take away our holidays.

Does your class work hard and earn their holidays?

My teacher and misses mat pretend that they were Mr Peabody and they were going to cancel the holidays for my class.

Room12 have been working very hard on all of our learning. We deserve our holidays.

I need my sleep in the holidays so I rest my brain to 

wrap myelin around my brain. 

We need time to see our friends and family because we might not see them in the term.

We can have new experiences like going to other countries and other places that you have not been.

Please do not take our holidays away.

Holidays let people sleep in, relax, reset our brains and  mussels.

 The holidays let me experience and do things I can’t do at school. Like PS (Playstation), dirtbiking and seeing people we don’t often see.

These are important experiences that help us to learn. Mr Peabody please don’t take our holidays.

In class our teacher said to be more curious about the world around us,so for my fact of the day I chose Frogs.I found Getting all of the facts and typing it up really hard to get done but I did it. Did you know that frogs were the first land animal on the earth to have vocal chords?

On Monday, we were learning about Artemis II. These are my three questions I want to ask NASA.

1.How long did it take you to make the rocket?

2.How long were you in space for the moon orbit?

3.When do you know when it is night time?

Yesterday, on Monday, Room 4  was learning  about NASA and Artemis ll and…

I wonder…

1 How does it feel flying with no gravity?

2  did they see any stars in the night?

3 how  did they get picked up when they fell in the ocean?

On Monday Room 4 was learning about Artemis II. Room 4 went on to the class site and watched some videos. Here are some of my questions:

1. How does the rocket know when to launch?

2. How long did the journey take?

 3. Did they enjoy the journey around the moon?

Yesterday we learnt about Artemis ll. Artemis ll is a thing where some people went around the moon in a rocket.

Why did they go around the moon?

How did they get food?

What were their jobs?

On Monday we learned about Artemis II. There were videos on the class website.

1.Why did the guy ask one of the astronauts if he prefers maple syrup more than Nutella on his pancakes in the morning?

2.Why did they want to go around the moon?

3. What’s it like up there, spending time in space?

The best thing about my Easter holiday was going to my friend’s house for a sleepover. It was at my friend Felicja’s house and my friend Harata also came. It was really fun because we got to do some crafts and play Dandy’s world.  The   The next morning we all went to over the lounge and had some snacks and played and watched a movie called Footloose it was It was kind of weird at some parts but the rest of it was really cool there was a girl called Ariel and this boy who liked her and she didn’t know that and she started being mean to him and then at the end they went to prom and they were having so much fun.

After the movie we all went to the river and we walked around and then when we went past the race course in Otaki we looked at the horses and we pet them we fit them a little bit because they said we could and they came over to us so we were allowed and we fit them grass and they loved it so much That they even came over to us it was really cute there was one white one with the grey dots on it and it was so cute and then the and then there was a two brown ones with black maids one of and there was another brown one which had Browns it was really cute. Then when we got back to my friend Felicja’s house and pancakes not any pancakes fluffy pancakes it was really yummy then my grandma picked me up to go to gymnastics that was when I hated that day nooooo! 

In Room 4 we have been reading the longest walk. It is about a family who goes from the top of the South Island and ends at the bottom of the South Island.

I wish I could walk the whole of Aotearoa, but I would get really tired.

I is about a family that goes from Cape Reinga to Bluff witch is 3,000 km.  The walk is about a family that walks the longest walk in New Zealand. The kids were also the first to do that long of a walk. I would also love to walk the trail myself because it would be really fun. But what about you? Would you like to do it? Reply in the comments.
