Taming the taniwha (Not finished)

James was Tama’s bully. James would take Tama’s lunch. One time James took Tama’s basketball and Tama tried to tell the teacher but the teacher was too busy. So that night Tama  told Auntie Flo and mum. Mum said James was a little taniwha. Mum and Auntie Flo said to ignore James. The next day James took Tama’s basketball and Tama tried too tell the teacher but the teacher was too busy helping a different kid so after school Tama went to his uncle and the uncle said to do the same thing that James did to Tama.

My SLJ task (Te Reo Mauri tongue twister) 31/12/15 last day of December! Happy New Year’s Eve!

Kia Ora bloggers!

Happy New Years Eve!

Today like always I have been doing my SLJ task!

Today for my SLJ task we had to make a te reo mauri tounge twister!

Yes! I have created a Tounge twister In te reo Mauri!

As being Indian I don’t know tons of Mauri, but I did know a bit through my school.

That’s why I used 2 Mauri dictionary’s to help me! Kaupapa and Te aka!

These are some Mauri Dictionary’s to help you find some Mauri Words and I looked up Some word that start with W Which helped me!

The name is “Te Aka Māori Dictionary” Which If you need you can search up on your chromebook’s or Laptops.

I have made 2 tounge twisters using the dictionary but as being a active member and one of the only 2 Kapa Haka Leaders repersenting Wigram I knew one tounge twister which I have also write at the bottom which is completely written in Mauri but I have also put the meaning under neath.

I have enjoyed doing this task and learning mauri in the holidays was very fun that’s why like always I would rate this task a 10/10 and would highly recommend this task to those of you who haven’t done the task and just decide to look at my blog.

First I have done the task on a Google drawing as I had to plan one out first and then I have just copied and pasted my work off that Google doc and put it onto my blog!

You can als0 do it by Doing Ctrl A on the Google doc Then Ctrl C and then going onto your blog post and then doing Ctrl V And then Wala, Your writing/work is copy and pasted onto you blog!

So if you haven’t known yet you are living under a rock if you haven’t noticed yet but I have done this task on a Google doc!

I have also put the image of the badge that I have earned from this task onto my blog so if you can;t find the badge feel free to take a screenshot and out it onto your blog!

So this draw’s me to the end of my task I have enjoyed, and I hope you do to, As I mentioned in my description if you haven’t’t done this task yet goahead and join the summer learning journey and do this task.

And If you enjoyed looking at my work please don’t forget to comment something helpful positive and thoughtful!

I hope you enjoy doing the task ( If you haven’t yet), Thankyou for reading, Happy Holidays, And most of all Happy New Years Eve!

Natural Art – Kick Start – SLJ

This task was way harder than I first thought. First I collected all of the materials and started working on my bird when I realised I would need a LOT more! So I gathered more and started making my bird by looking at a picture of the bird online. I decided on a Fantail and it didn’t turn out as well as I thought it would. It took quite a while to find materials, decide on a bird, make the bird, etc. The yellow flowers are the wing, the leaf is the head and the seed on top of it is the eye. I tried to outline the head with the stem of a flower but that didn’t work too well. The ferns at the back of the bird are the tail of the Fantail. So, overall I think I did pretty well!

SLJ 2025 Beak Breakers – Step It Up

Today, I did the last activity of the Summer Learning Journey from this year. This is the Step It Up version of beak breaking and tongue twisting, and I am back with another tongue twisting video. Instead of just any tongue twister in English, I stepped this up by doing Māori tongue twister in funny voices. In my video that I have made, I voice my normal voice and a weird voice in both Māori and English. A tip on how I made the voices are to just talk abnormally.

Happy New Year to everyone! How do you tongue twist your new year for 2026?

Spider Alert!

If you think this is low-quality, just know that this is made from memory.

Kind NO.1:

NO.1 is a web design for a very stupid spider.

No.2/3:

These are designs I made when I was 7 or 8 i think in my dreams.

I’m kinda bored right now and I challenged myself to write until 55 words. The-end

Music to Show Emotions.

We filmed and edited a movie that showed changing emotions. We had to first find free to use music tracks that matched the emotions, then we had to create our own music tracks that matched the changing emotions in our movie. Here are my 2 movie clips.
