Using Google Maps to Screenshot places

Today in class we practiced using the screenshot tool.
We had to find different places in Google maps and take screenshots of them. HOWEVER Google Maps was blocked for some reason, and so we used Apple Maps instead.
We zoomed in and used the binoculars tool to see a street view style image, then screenshot that. Here are the places I found.

I found:

  • Glenbrae School
  • Glen Innes Library
  • australia
  • the beach
  • sky tower
  • KFC

I love Panikeke because wen I was little my grandma made it for me and since that day I loved Panikeke and the way it is made the dough is so smooth, crispy and  it tastes like banana too, also a panikeke is a Pacific Islander term for ¨Panikeke ¨ often referring to a fried pancake ball or flat-fried Pancake. they are typically made with a better flour , sugar , and eggs , and milk some times including bananas, and are fried in oil until golden brown. have you had one and how did it taste?

Muffins are the best food out of all foods!

Muffins will always be the best, because they come in a variety of flavours like chocolate, and banana and sometimes even mixed! Like Chocolate with raisins, it’s my favourite, because it is just so delicious, and i like to eat it every time i’m sad or i just want to eat it because it’s so yum!  Personally my favourite flavour  is Banana with chocolate chips! The first time I tried it was when my mum made it  for the first time and since then it has become my favourite food!

Time Travller’s Podcast ft Samuel Marsden

For this activity our challenge was to interveiw Samuel Marsden on a podcast. We had used our Inquiry knowledge to help us write questions that we might have asked Samuel Marsden as if we were talking to him. On Adobe Express we used the Podcast tool to record our voices and script we collaborated together and had created. Our group all had roles so Armani and Amorangi was Samuel Marsden, and the hosts were Jaeliyah, Hasna, and Valencia. I really enjoyed doing this activity because we all got to ask each other questions and answer them. We also all collabrated in this activity.

Using the line tools to draw or faces

Today in Cybersmart we were practicing using the line tool like the curve line, we used this to make ourselves look like a cartoon character.

I found this kind of easy but, doing the perfectly right sizes and shapes for our faces was tricky. Today during Cybersmart I had a lot of fun.

My favorite part about doing this lesson today was the colouring in part, which was where we got to colour our faces and outfits and make it look more realistic and we even added more lines to our face and hair to make it look more realistic.

Using The Line Tools To Draw Our Faces

Today in Cybersmart we were practising using tools like the curve line, to draw different shapes. We use the curve line as an equipment more like a tool to draw over the top of our face, and create a cartoon version of ouselves.

I find it kinda hard to draw my face because I don’t know how to draw so basically what I’m trying to say is that it was quite challenging.
