Kia Ora everyone and welcome to my blog. Today I did the task of making it snow somewhere in the world using scratch. I did Cape Reinga because it is my favourite place to have a walk in the North Island, and secondly the most north area of mainland New Zealand. Here is my Snow! I hope you enjoy it! Ko nga mea i hiahiatia e au ki te whakamahi i nga pepa tae rereke e 2, te riipene, te kutikuti, te ruri, te pene. Today I have completed another Summer Learning Journey activity. The Summer Learning Journey is a program that helps students keep learning throughout the Summer holidays.
I decided to attempt the kick start. For this Te Reo Maori activity, I needed to create a weaving pattern using paper. I first watched all the videos to help me understand the activity. Once I finished watching all videos, I went back to the instructional video on how to weave using paper. The items I needed to use 2 different colour paper, tape, scissors, ruler, pencil. Once I finished weaving my strands of paper, I took a clear photo to show the finish result on how it looks like.

I found this activity fun because I was able to learn a fun but challengin actvity that is common in the Maori culture.
My riddles
All the riddles are communicating because the really make you think hard. I took a few minutes on some of them like the birthday age one that really was really hard for me to figure out.

Task Description : Welcome back to my blog ! Here is another post I have finished. This is a Scratch activity, and I enjoyed the coding I had to put together.

WALT: All you have to do is to go on Scratch. Add a new project. Go on the SLJ site and there is a link which leads you to a google slide showing you how to make falling snow in code. First thing you’re going to do before everything else is to go on googles maps and choose the favorite spot you would like to hang out with, take a screenshot of it. Add your image to your Scratch project. When you are coding it can take a while, but if you are a pro at coding you’ll finish this in 5 minutes ! To my swimming instructors,
From the moment i saw the large amount of water in the pool i knew at that point i had alot of feelings of fear i had to work on to be able to become a good swimmer.
As a 6 year old i screamed and shook with fear everytime i went near the water.
You gave me every bit of your time in lessons to help me overcome my fear and get better every time i got in the pool.
We both know that i have now overcome my fear of water as i now can swim in the pool doing free style, back stroke and even go under water no problems.
My feelings of fear have now gone and i enjoy every lesson i have as i know i get better every time.

This week my family and I went on holiday. We went to Rotorua and Hamilton. We went to Skyline, Hamilton Temple, movies, and pools. My family and I had so much fun and enjoyed our trip. Making a Rainbow out of Shapes?
Today I made a rainbow out of shapes on Canva. I was inspired by a book I read called ‘Nanny Mihi and the Rainbow’
Who doesn’t like rainbows with all the colours? The main challenge was finding different shapes to use and my favourite part was of course seeing all the colours at the end. Do you like it? Give it a go, I liked doing this task.

Task Description: Today in the morning I was thinking that I could do a task because I felt like o should because maybe miss out on thee other task so I picked one to do and it was pretty fun to do and was really well doing it. While, I was doing this task I felt proud doing this because I was doing a task today and I’ll also like to say thank all SLJ leaders for doing this each year at a time. Finally I had time to post about it and happy new years EVE!!!

SLJ – Escape Room

You first had to find out which object was the one to start. When you click that, you have to answer the 4 maths questions.
In the end, it asks you to put all the answers as 1 code to open the door.
