Problem: We lack the skills to make spears. 

What we want to do: We want to learn how to make spears and hunt eels with them.

 How can we improve schools?

• We can improve our school by extending our interval.

• We can improve our school by having a long summer break.

• We can improve our school by making the class rooms bigger and better.

• We can improve our school by having late starts.

• We can create new games in our house games.

• More house colour games through-out the year.

• Less strict teachers.

• Let us wear whatever colour nail polish.

• They could put the prices down at the canteen.

• They should add puffer jackets to the uniform.

• They need a bigger corridor in the office.

• We need a bigger hall.

• We need a bigger canteen.

• We need blinds on our windows.

• We need bigger corridors in all the classes.

• We need to be allowed phones in school.

• We should be allowed to watch YouTube in class time.

• We should get 10 minutes free time in between our classes.

• We should have more time in P.E .

• Carpet in classes that don’t have it.

• Get heat pumps for more warmth.

• Give the student the WiFi password.

            What is the problem: The kids at school aren’t enjoying it. 

What are you trying to improve, create or change: We are trying to make school a better place to learn and make rules less strict.

 One thing I have learnt in the DARE program: I have learnt that there are three categories of drugs. A, B, and C class drugs A being the most dangerous, B at in the middle, and C slim to non of being really dangerous. 

One thing I have learned about Kaitiakitanga: It means guardianship and protector. Kaitiakitanga of the land.

Have I achieved ROAR in class?: Yes. 

How did I achieve ROAR?: In Art, reading, and maths by listening to the teachers, doing my work and completing it, taking care of school resources such as equipment in the Art room, and bringing all items I need for school and getting to all my classes on time.

Do I enjoy the new reading program? Yes. Why Do I like it? I like it because it’s like reading a real book and if the words are too small you can just zoom in or out.

 did I learn anything about DARE an Kaitiakitanga for DARE I learnt that too many drugs can kill you and for the Kaitiakitanga in learnt that it is really important and it means guardianship. have I achieved ROAR in class I have achieved for this week is RESPECT because I would be looking at the teacher and listening. how do you like epic? and why? i like epic because there is so many books to choose from.

What have I learn’t while doing D.A.R.E? well ive learn’t that it is not good to use drugs and D.A.R.E stands for(Drugs Are Retraded Everday) because that is my opinon.

What have I learn’t while doing Kaitiakitanga in class/Otaki college? well I learrn’t that Kaitiakitanga i s about the environment and iusse’s.

Have you achived R.O.A.R in class? Yes, Resposabilty for example heling others while in class.

Do you enjoy EPIC? and why? Because I can read along with iy and can help me to get better at reading.
