Hi bloggers today I am blogging my create task. I had to make a poster about how Matariki was make.

• Hi blogger’s today I’m blogging my must do from my matariki task board which is a info graphic, so matariki is coming up soon plus this week I’ve been reading about a text called He aha ra a Matariki? which translates to what is Matariki.
• What I did : So first go to the senior learning site (2026 version) then click on inquiry then got to slide 4 (by the way go on the top presentation) then read what reading task 2 says then go on Adobe and make an info graphic and pick a template that you like then add photos and a description then download as a PNG and make the size 480 x 1,200 px  make a blog then add a title,description and publish.
• Reflection : So I think this task is pretty good, plus I learned more about matariki while looking through the text,overall I think this is a solid 7.8/10, but the info graphic of mine took me a short amount of time, also I think I did a pretty good job at doing the info graphic.

Hey blogger’s today I will show you my Matariki podcast with my friend Zachary. WE talked about the facts about Matariki and what is represents and what it brings. The Matariki brings happiness to the Maori New year and what is so great about it. We also talk about the names of each of the stars and how Matariki came alive from one of the gods eyes getting flipped off from another god hitting him in the eyes.I can’t get the full podcast so I will just give you the link for it.

Today is the Tuesday 30 June 2026.

What I did I had to chose 5 one my favourite facts about Matariki.

What I learned Matariki is a celebration that many countries celebrate and they might call it the seven sisters and here are all the stars  Waipuna-a-rangi,Hiwa-i-te-rangi,Watia,Waiti,Pohutukawa,Ururangi,Tupuarangi ,Tupuanuku and Matariki.

Today is the 30th of June 2026!

For today’s activity I am doing infographic on the Matarki task board!

Basically because Matariki is coming up and its the last week of the Term the teachers decided to makee a task board about Matariki!

The goal of it is to do one must do then do one can do,

and you keep doing alternative then!

So here, I have done the first create task of a must do called the infographic!

Where you put pictures and five facts about Matariki!

I enjoyed this task because  I loved learning about the interesting facts about Matariki!

I did this task on a DLO Adobe express using poster!

This was really fun I will rate it a 10/10!

Now let me tell you how Matariki was Made!

Matariki is a group of stars that are visible in NZ,

there are many names through the world for this clusters of stars such as the seven sisters! The term Matariki is believed to be of the ka mata o te riki Tawwhirimatea (Sorry if I spelled it wrong).

Taw whirimatea ripped out his eyes and crushed them in his hand and threw them to the the chest of his father forming, the constellation Matariki!

Hello bloggers I’m going to show you my Matariki task .SO what I did was a podcast script that we do with buddy by talking back and forth. We talked so much about Matariki and the meanings of the stars .It took us about 39 minutes . It was challenging but we got through it . I will show you the task it was fun but hard. Hey bloggers! welcome back to my blog! This week we are learning about a special day! Yes- you guessed it, it is Matariki! Matariki is a day to eat food with your family and think about those who have passed!

Anyways for the create tasks I had to write a pod cast script! ( It is basically an interview with a buddy. For example… if I say Matariki is a day to celebrate the 7 star sisters! Then my buddy will say more information about all the stars . It was really interesting to know each star is connected/ in charge of. It took me a lot of time to write this podcast so I hope you’ll enjoy it!! Byee!!!
