jungle scene – creative writing.

One busy Morning on a nice tragic day, when i wanted to run away and be free. I came upon a pleasing jungle with native trees and beautiful stairs along the way. I rusted ford as i could feel my hair swing throw the wind. The stairs felt like a bumpy snake. It had  this green ferns and dangling pieces of vines. It was peaceful and quite, beside the little insects and birds chirping around.

It was a tragic time, that i had to leave in the middle of such a nice moment.

Jungle scene writing

Yesterday we had to write a descriptive piece of writing to do with a jungle scene or a photo of the jungle. We wrote two paragraphs and they had to involve at least 1 of each thing: a personification, a noun, alliteration,  a simile, metaphor, powerful adjectives and verbs/adverbs. Today I will  be sharing my story about a jungle scene, it is about a creature/me telling a story about a fog covering my forest… Here it is.

A thick ominous fog had surrounded the forest, spreading like wildfire the animals of the forest had scattered and hide in fear hoping something or someone would figure out what was going on. I’d hear stories about this kind of thing “once every 12 years a fog would surround a forest taking its animals and all living things within the forest” well at least that’s what I heard. Others would say it’s just a freezing cold storm coming or a day were the sun would shine brighter than it ever has, I didn’t believe anything creatures would say since they had a habitat of lying…. A frog as green as the grass jumped towards the fog trying to get out but couldn’t, he tried again and again and again but couldn’t get out, it was like an invisible barrier stopping creatures from getting out.

A few minutes had past and the fog wouldn’t leave it was here to stay. Someone had reached out to me offering a helping hand. This animal, this creature I had never seen opened his hands out to me and helped find out what was going on. We went around asking people how this had got here, they had no idea. If they didn’t know what was going on how would we. My supposedly called friend had told me this had happened to his forest but I had so many questions like: how did he escape, where did the fog come from, all these rushing through my mind but i couldn’t ask a single one, its like my mind was clouded and full of mysterious, did it have to do with the fog i guess I wouldn’t know.“Its black magic”…

My jungle creative writing

My jungle scene contains Sparkling water running down the waterfall with an enormous elephant in the back, The parrot that is as blue as the sky, A tiger behind the trees sneaking around probably looking for prey, The cute mort waving at the picture, two very tired looking sloths, a very curious monkey, a lizard that is as still as a statue, a turtle that is as slow as a snail, a massive hippo grey as the angry clouds and very hypo looking fish jumping around with joy.

The scenery is so majestic the water is falling down hard trying to break the earth then running down the hill as if it was running away from danger, the water was shiny, reflecting off the shiny bright sun.l The trees and grass is so clean and beautiful it gives life to everything around it. The cliff in the background is so big and staunch like a giant castle wall protecting people from danger. The water wickedly went down the waterfall.

JUNGLE STORY

hello. I am going to share my jungle story today based off of a picture I saw.

The gigantic elephant was grazing in the grass while the zebras just chilled next to it with the leaves in the tall trees blowing with the whirling wind and listening to the calm water in front of them.

The giraffes were putting their faces in the sky with the white fluffy clouds while the other animals were down on the land.

The jungle forest was so alive the trees would sometimes make creaking noises and engulf the other plants in their leaves and strangled the other trees too.

While all of that was happening the elephant was stomping and jumping and blowing with its trunk.

There is an overgrown, overwhelming, over sized plant that was shaping the forest.

How I made a paper plane

I made a paper aeroplane with my mum in lockdown today I  watched a video on how to build a plane.

these two photos are me making the paper plane

4 things to consider when building a paper plane
Drag,thrust,lift and gravity

For me it was really hard folding because I couldn’t get it perfect. I was rushing and the folds didn’t meet properly. In the end I finally did it. the first flight was a bit crooked then on the second flight it flew better and went further. I didn’t make any changes. I  was happy with it.

 Newspaper Article

Summary of the text (4 sentences)

This text is about a large group of privileged people who attended a party during lockdown. breaking the law, endangering themselves, their surroundings and most definitely their families. There were alot of high paid people there under the influence doing the most embarrassing things. Caught on camera going viral for the whole world to see and for the whole world to know why we are in lockdown.

A key idea/message in the text

This article made me realize that over 50 people attended a party that soon later didn’t realize it would affect New Zealand. The people that attended the party didn’t realize how big their actions would affect New Zealand’s situations dealing with covid. Personally I find it really frustrating that people think they can go off and disobey the law like this. If more than 50 people attended this event all 50-70 people come from households that hold 5 people each. When they go home that night with covid it spreads faster then we want it too. We are trying to reduce the amount of covid cases for the better of freedom but if you keep throwing parties for everyone to attend to invading each other’s personal bubbles then you’re going to increase covid to the point were our personal bubble limit will go down to three people in a household, online shopping and many more at this rate. People love meeting new people, getting out more, enjoying life and all its specialties with it.  I think the actions of these people were selfish and childish. Them knowing the law not to increase the cases would be pretty silly if you ask me.

Something the text made me think about/realise/appreciate/rethink my understanding of etc…

This text helped me see that with our actions we keep doing to put New zealand into danger like this at this rate we won’t be able to get the freedom we once had. This article made me rethink a lot of things I’ve been taking advantage of for the past few years of my life. With the amount of time we have left before we go into isolation made me wanna cherish every person that’s important to me every last bit because I don’t know how much time I would have to spend with them. But these people that attended that party would be regretting everything they’ve done. Mainly just being there. The time spent there they could have spent with their family in their bubble bonding and having a good time at home. I understand what they felt once they realized how big this would have become in a way. It’s Anger and regret you feel when you make a really big mistake that can affect your loved ones in a way you don’t want them to feel towards you. When I make a mistake there’s going to be that feeling deep down were you really regret everything you did. But behind every mistake there’s always a lesson behind it. As long as you

know what you did was bad, accept the consequences and learn from it; that’s all part of learning.

Using the tracing tool in google draw

The past lesson in Cybersmart we have been given the option to do either draw a couple images we like in Google Drawing or a Pick a Path activity in Google Slides. I chose to draw an image I liked in Google Drawing. The images I did were  Air Jordan 1 Hyper Royals and a Black & White 270s.

 What is culture?

Culture is what makes people different it is peoples preferences and traditional activities that make people different it can be anything from music or to how you eat your food, it may come from your ancestors and how they passed down they’re ways or how your parents raised you. As people migrate around the world they bring their culture with them they may bring  all sorts of their culture into the country like food such as Thai food, Indian, Japanese/Chinese food and much more, some aspects of New Zealand’s culture may change how people do things when they come here like Covid-19 we are one of the lucky countries that are pretty much Covid free.
