This poster for our class is about not giving up when hard times.

Last week in Room 3, we were practising addition and subtraction of larger and decimal numbers. This sheet is a record of my progress. We are continuing to work on these type of problems till the end of the term.

This is my spelling art i made this with Matua Andrew and it wasn’t that hard. I made a guy with a basket ball with my words.

Today in Room 3 we made some paper air planes. Here is my explanation of what we had to do. First you need to get one piece of A4 paper.

Step 1 Fold your paper till it looks like a.

Step 2 Colour it and put your name on it.

Step 3 Go somewhere where you can fly it.

My one broke then Matua Andrew helped me make on again then we went to the hall and we had a competition we went to in year groups the year 5 went first. the year 6 ended up winning and that’s what we did

I have had a great time being a year 4 cause I have a new teacher and he is fun and being a year 4 is fun because you get easier work being a year 4 is fun because you get to cook with Mr Clark and we don’t get to swim we have split class as a year 4 and once we get back from a split class we get free time on a computers and on November the 7th on the school colour Fun Run for the Year 4 where was a small groupand I came 11th and I played soccer in 2023 and my team was called the all white and we vs the red devil’s in soccer when on next Saturday we vs the blue whales on the next Saturday we vs for green goblins as well and when I was playing  I got fouled so I took a shot and we won the game.

and we introduced our new principle to the school and we did some School songs and then the boys and girls did the kapa haka

We welcomed Matua Jason on a Monday to our school.

We did songs in hall for our new Principal.

We were running at the Fun run and the teachers were spraying us with colour. We got medals for winning. I tried my best.

We played Taitoko School in touch rugby and we won. It was a hard game.

I did Shot Put and the Discuss. I also did the long jump, high jump and sprints.

I like soccer and shooting goals.

Things that I do well in my writing are:

• ACTUALLY doing capital letters and full stops

• I’m good at spelling the words I put in my stories 

• Using when what why who how

What I need to do better with is stop listing when I write or when I type and using punctuation.

I know that I have done a good job in my writing when 

My brain says I’m done and when I have no idea what to add and when other people can understand my writing.

The things that I do well in my writing are:

• My full stops.
• I do long sentences .
• I do who when what why how.
• My punctuation.

What I need to do better with is my capital letters.

I know that I have done a good job in my writing when

The things that I do well in my writing are:

• I Don’t give  up
• I read it so l know if I its right
• I like writing its fun

What I need to do better with is getting my writing right.

I know that I have done a good job in my writing when because l check my writing.

The things that I do well in my writing are: 

• I think about what to write before typing 
• knowing where to put capital letters and full stops 
• Putting punctuation where its supposed to go
• I’m good at spelling the words and putting them where its supposed go

What I need to do better with is making sure my recounts are in the right order

What I need to do better with is double-checking my writing without help

I know that I have done a good job in my writing when I’ve double-checked on my writing and I don’t need to change anything.

This post is about what happened while I was in Rotorua. We did fireworks and I got to see one of my friends.
