On Friday the 18th of september we farewelled our principal Whea Sharlene.

first the juniors did kapa haka and then the seniors preformed kapa haka and after kapa haka some people talked for a little bit and then after we had ice blocks

On Friday last week 18th of September it was our schools principal farewell she is moving away to go to a different school.

Before she left she had asked for the whole school to perform one last time Kapa Haka.

Everyone tried hard for the farewell it was probably the best performance and the strongest one ever the school had done. It was at least 35 minutes before it stopped next, we had to listen to about 12 speeches that were all 5 minutes long. (Except for the principals, that one was 15 min long).

we sat for what felt like 2 and a half hours we stood up finally and got some ice blocks from the PTA.

For the 1st time i had seen the whole school cry and wail now people are very sad.

On Friday we had to wake up really early. I had to make my bed,make breakfast,and had to wake up my sisters. Me and my family had to go to New Plymouth. We had a huge drive in front of us it was 6 hours. When we got to the motel there was a pool, spa, and had a river coming from mt Taranaki.

on Friday 18th September kaiwaka school farewelled for our principal whaea sharlene. I did Kapa haka and then there was speeches. We had ice blocks, but I didn’t want one.

Kia ora on Friday the 18 of September Kaiwaka school we farewelled our principal.

Whaea Sharlene when we got in the K.S.A. And the junions did ther Kapa Haka.

They did amazing. Next was our tern the seniors. We went up and did one song and then I did my mihi.

And then after a cupel songs I did a haka. And we finesed our kapa haka. And then the adolts did ther speech and then Whaea Sharlene did her speech and then we went out of the building and got a ice block. I got a red one I think that is the best flavor.

On Friday 18th 2026 was the sad farewell of Whaea Sharlene.

But on the other side was gonna be a new principle which everyone was excited and curious about.

Whaea Sharlene had one wish… to do kapa haka with the uniforms/moko/and parents!

The seniors and junior did kapa haka!

Later on the teachers and staff did speeches and beautiful singing!

And for the grand final we did our waita passed from our ancestors of kaiwaka! Ko puke karoro!

On friday I was at home because I was sick we were supposed to give our principal a farewell but I could not go. So at home I was all alone with my brother. My brother was not sick but when I take a day off school he does too. But it also works the other way round so I also get to stay home when my brother is sick enough to stay home. I read three full books in four hours.

On Friday 18th of September Kaiwaka school had a farewell for the principal of Kaiwaka school.The principal of Kaiwaka school was leaving to go to a new school. The school was doing a kapa haka performance to say goodbye to her.The whole school did kapa haka and special people got up and said a speech about her.After the kid got ice blocks and went to lunch play.
