Stop chopping trees

Today for reading, we had to finish this me and my group had the island in the sun. It was hard but fun. I liked drawing the picture. Do you guys do this for reading, and if you do, what is it called?

A group of people came to an island and found about a thousand more trees, but they cut some down to build houses. A man arrived on the island, found the people, cut down a lot of trees, and said to the people it was fine because there were millions left, so it did not matter. So they built more houses,s and they kept building until there was only room for a footpath. Then a man needed firewood, so he cut the tree down! The birds flew around and found nothing, so they flew off and did not come back, and they could not make a nest

Magpies can sometimes be annoying and try to take your food, there only taking people’s food because they are hungry. People shouldn’t hurt magpies because they are part of nature. Fun fact: they eat the bugs in your garden, which is good because bugs can kill and eat your plants, so magpies eat them, get them out of your garden, and help keep your plants alive. So I think we should treat magpies well and not be mean to them. #the cheeky magpie#num 4# also magpires like collecting golden and shiny stuff, as well as bugs

For Literacy this week, we have been making a slideshow on a story we have for Literacy, and mine was about two boys making an Iron Man and it coming to life.
