This week for our reading task we are learning all about instructions,so for our writing we wrote a recipe on how to make jam toast. It was kind of stressful to write the instructions in time because we only had limited time. Have you ever made jam toast?

In class we have been learning all about instructions. It was hard, because it felt like we didn’t have enough time to write the method.   I learnt during this, that an imperative verb is a bossy verb.  E.g. Grab!  Do you know how to write instructions?

Hello! Today I made a perfect Jam on Toast recipe for you! In my class we had to make instructions for making Jam on Toast, I finally know how to make the best Jam on Toast. Today in room 4  we are doing mission  engineering with Paulina the first thing we did was the whiteboard and we though it was about 90.cm but it was actually  80.cm  then after we did the chrombook and it was actually 90 .cm  but we thought It was 70.cm . it was so fun!!

today I have made a poast about liserds and it is silly makeing it and there is something at one of the slides it was hard finding the pickers but it was fun makeing it bye.

2 weeks ago we went and visited Pukekaraka which is a big Marae/Church we also went and visited Rangatira church. It was actually really fun to visit all those amazing places.Have you ever been inside the Rangatira church?

In class our teacher said to be more curious about the world around us,so for my fact of the day I chose Sharks.This went really quickly so it was pretty easy.Have you ever done something like this?

A couple weeks ago we went to two of the churches in Otaki. St Mary’s and St peter chanel. I liked the one with the huge roof and all the cool Maori wooden panels. Have you ever been to either of these churches? Anyway, I hope you like it!

This week for my national day I have done bacon I liked finding facts about bacon it was quite fascinating do you like bacon?

This week for my fact of the day national day research, I researched coconuts. It was actually really interesting to find out all of those things about coconuts you can see them all on my slide.Have you ever drunk coconut water straight out of a coconut?

A few weeks ago we did measuring on things you could use in a bridge like books and chairs and bags.  The bag was about 90 cm, the tv was 1 meter and 31 cm, the floor was 9 meters, and the Chromebook was 31cm.

Today we are doing bridges to schools Mission 2: Engineering with measurement. First we grab the paper sheet and a 1 metre ruler then we choose our four objects and we Estimate the length and we use the 1 metre ruler to find out the real length. Next we write the difference between Estimate and Actual and we do the 4 objects.

In room 4 we have been doing maths missions. For the first one we needed ice-blocks sticks and built a square, triangle and a rectangle. After that we squished them and the square turned into a diamond and the rectangle into a weird diamond and the triangle into noting just a triangle. So it showed us that the triangle is the strongest.

This week, for my fact of the day I chose to do chameleons. The reason for this is because I don’t really know anything about chameleons so I wanted to do it. Have you ever researched chameleons? hope you like my slide!
