Thunderstorms

Hi, This is my information report about thunderstorms. I did this because I find that thunderstorms are interesting, beaming, and astonishing! Now here is some interesting facts and answers to commonly asked questions.

What are thunderstorms?

A storm with lightning and thunder

They are produced by a Cumulomibus————————> A dense towering vertical cloud or heaped rain.

Cloud, Usually producing heavy rain, or even hail!

Things that will happen in a Thunderstorm.

Unstable air and lift.

Moisture

Relatively warm air

Sea breezes————————–> A sea breeze is a breeze coming from a large body of water onto land!

Mountain breezes

When are thunderstorms most likely to occur?

Summer and spring.

Evenings

Afternoons

It’s very unlikely that a thunderstorm occurs in the morning Unless it was rainy/stormy

The other night.

What is the lighting?

Lightning is a bright flash of electricity produced by a thunderstorm. All thunderstorms produce lightning and are very dangerous. If you hear the sound of thunder, then you are in danger from lightning. Lightning kills and injures more people each year than hurricanes or tornadoes between 75 to 100 people.

What causes lightning?

A small bit of ice (Frozen raindrops.) in the sky hit each other at high speeds, creating an electric charge.

Know the facts.

Thunderstorms occur in every state, and every thunderstorm has lighting.

A typical thunderstorm is in 15 miles in diameter and lasts for an average of 30 minutes.

Rain can drag a storm lower to the ground, Making it more difficult and aggressive to avoid.

Hail from thunderstorms can bounce around like popcorn!

Thunderstorms are extremely heavy, One cumulonimbus cloud weighs 1 million pounds!

Some thunderstorms can rain. Frogs! I know it sounds crazy but it has happened before, When there is a lot of wind it can pick up small creatures like frogs, lizards, and other Amphibians, Reptiles.

Ending.
